Chelsea Cantey, Administrative Assistant

Whitney Causey, Registered Dental Hygienist

I was born and raised in Georgetown, SC. I have been married to my husband, Kenneth, for almost ten years. We have two beautiful children, Hux and Pynner Leigh, as well as a dog named Bodie. I attended HGTC where I studied Dental Hygiene and graduated in 2010 with an Associates Degree in Science. I am also certified in Nitrous Oxide. My passion is working with children and those with special needs. I have been with Gentle Dentistry since 2016 and look forward to many more years serving you and your children!

Brittany Reece, Registered Dental Hygienist

In 2016, I graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from HGTC. I have an Associates Degree in Science, as well as local infiltration anesthesia and nitrous oxide certifications. I have been pleased to call Gentle Dentistry my home away from home since March 2016. I am originally from Whitmire, SC and moved to Pawleys Island in 2011. My husband and I welcomed our beautiful daughter, Blair, in the world in July 2019, as well as our son, Michael, in September of 2021. I continue to look forward to serving our community by being a member of the Gentle Dentistry family.

Lindsey Forehand Lotito, Registered Dental Hygienist

I am a native of Georgetown, SC. I have been married to Mike Lotito for 7 years. We have two boys born in 2019 and 2021. I graduated from Georgetown High School in 2004 and from HGTC in 2008 with my associate in applied science for dental hygiene, and 2006 for certification in dental assisting. I also have my certification in Nitrous Oxide and Infiltration to give local anesthesia. I enjoy dentistry, going to the beach, being on the boat and being with my family.

April Thornell, Dental Assistant

I am married to my wonderful husband Earl of 14 years. We have 2 children, Jennifer and Tyler, and 2 sweet granddaughters, Maddy and Raelynn. We also have two fur babies Petey and Drake. I reside in Andrews. I enjoy camping with family and hanging out with friends. I have been in the Dental field since 2004 as a Dental Assistant. I have several certifications in Nitrous Oxide, Radiation Safety and CPR. I have been with Gentle Dentistry for five years now and I love it! I enjoy working with our wonderful staff and patients. I am blessed to call Gentle Dentistry my home. I’m looking forward to helping with all your dental needs.

Halsey Blevins, Dental Assistant

Halsey has worked in the dental field for twenty years and loves the social aspect of forming relationships with patients and her co-workers. She was born and raised in Georgetown and after leaving for college, she moved back to the area twenty years later with her family. Along with her husband, Jared, she is the mother to a son, Perry (9), and daughters, Alice Mercer (6) and Caroline (3).  They also have a sweet dog, Mamie. She is thrilled to be back in her hometown while raising her family and loves seeing familiar and new faces at Gentle Dentistry!

Caroline Reeves, Dental Assistant

I graduated from the HGTC Dental Assisting Program in 2017. I have been working at Gentle Dentistry as a dental assistant since graduating. I live in Andrews and I have been married for almost six years. My husband, Luke, and I have 2 beautiful children, Emmy who is 4 and Jett who is 2.
